The social scene of the times and place is such that Gowri will be forced to get engaged to Sunil. Heavy of heart Vinod packs his bags to head off to Bombay for a meeting on the eve of Gowri's engagement to Sunil. The story is convincingly knit while this love triangle plays itself out.
