After writing 17 different versions of the script "Breakfast in Beirut" in Los Angeles with script supervisor Rachel Vine in Universal Studios, Hollywood, California in 2012. Writer and Filmmaker Farrah ALHashem kept changing the storyline until her arrival in Beirut February 2014 where she ended up shooting a completely different version of the script. The Film's experimental direction examines Beirut as a chaotic city, and its inhabitants' relationship with it. But underneath this chaos, the heart of Beirut is waiting to be discovered.The South is losing the Civil War and the coffers are nearly empty. A group of Confederate spies steals a shipment of gold in San Francisco and attempts to deliver it to a Confederate general in El Paso.
