The fate ends up linking Lucas and Heloisa and the two ends up having a quick romance, that will leave Claudia upset. Claudia doesn't give up and convinces the Japanese macumbeira of the place (Tomoto) to take action, to invoke the demons, and end Heloisa's life. He arrests her anyway, and she is convicted and serves several years in prison. Finally out on parole, she is soon mixed up in a murder. The detective is torn between his love for his girlfriend and his belief that she may have committed the murder.
