简介：A grim police detective lieutenant embarks on a one-man crusade to track down a depraved sex maniac in this forgotten neo-noir masterpiece of American independent cinema. With its sleazy, taboo-busting nature, the film was refused certification for a theatrical release in 1965.Good-looking middle-class boy, arrested because of a minor offense (a fight in a bar), is put in a fetid small cell with six dangerous and poor criminals, and ends up being brutally raped. In "Barrela" everything happens in a prison cell. Six men discuss their problems, fight their own ghosts and have their conflicts. There's a man who happens to be the sheriff (the one all the others must obey), a mental disturbed guy and some others criminals who then receive a seventh member there. It's a heavy atmosphere from the beginning to the end of the film (that is just 72 minutes long).
