But her father, a log breaker, decides to marry her off to an NRI. Since it is inevitable to stop the marriage the tailor tried to commit suicide and and gets hospitalized. Surprisingly, the marriage comes to a halt. Therefore, in the end, Sumathi and the Tailor reunite.
