He spends most of his time passing time that has nothing to do with his assigned project. Documentary footage of the war is shown and no new insights are given during the director's half-hearted research of a historical event about which he knows next to nothing.A young man is a collector of feminine conquests. One morning, leaving one of his mistresses he is addressed by one of his past flirts. As revenge, she denounces him later to the police as the murderer of her fiance who was found dead the same morning.
